The Mon River Trail North is part of the West Virginia Rail Trail system. This is the most scenic trail in the system. It travels through dense woodlands along the rivers edge to the Pennsylvania border. The trail continues North through Pennsylvania to Point Marion. This former CSX rail corridor is relatively flat with slight ascents and descents along a crushed stone path. This trail is wheelchair accessible.
